How would I know if the remote override works? ive not used it before. I locked both controllers to a different PSQ1684įirst controller uses Novation Control XL port and second used Novation Control XL port 4 in and 5 for out, these are the only 2 options except for Novation Control MIDI3 which doesn't work Note that if the controllers are not locked to a specific device and the remote codec has a remotemap entry for a device for which a midi track in the sequencer exists, both controllers may be automatically assigned to the same device and controls when the midi track is selected. To which device have you assigned the controllers? Are they locked to specific devices?ĭo both control surfaces have the correct MIDI port? Does remote overrides work for both controllers? Which control surface/remote codec do you use for both Control XL? I have setup the second as Control XL 2 but by the looks of it the remote map and codec are not being used for second XL I plug in, basically the top row of knobs work in default manner but the controller is not mapped as it should beĭo I need to create a different remote map and codec under a different name? how does this all work? bigboost 3.4 turbo kit sitting on my table is next.Dallasknight wrote:I have since bought a second Control XL but can't get them both to work its your car, but i know how i drive, and im increasing the load with xhp. no need for that here, 0) you can either do it or not. and starts a huge debate as seen elsewhere in forums. it just pulls, and shifts so much faster. Xhp makes it feel like im cabled to a freight train in every gear. lol.! from FCPĪnyway I gave it a good 100+ miles after fluid change. the fluid change brought me nice silky smooth shifts. the fluid was darker that the new but didn't "smell" bad or burnt. few days apart, i drive about 70 miles a day round trip. If you did service and XHP flash at the same time, any thoughts as so if the service is partly responsible for improvements in shifting (i.e., shift quality not necessarily speed). but just MHO.īy tranny service do you mean fluid and filter change? If so, what mileage did you do it at, about 60k like ZF recommends? Any idea how your fluid looked? nothing scientific like the guys above yet. easy install, worked as expected and its just so much better.

I only have another 50 miles on car after the first 50, so haven't done any more in depth analysis but to answer your questions, shifting speed and experience. it is is just on and pulls and shifts are solid and fast. car shifts amazing, and there is no, best i can describe TQ converter ramp up. after my 50 mile lolly gagging driving, the best bang for the buck ive spent. that said, just did my tranny service and after a few days driving I did XHP. I don’t really care that much about 0-60 times but more importantly the actual shifting speed and experience. I also saw on their website that you can adjust shifting speed slider towards maximum speed at the cost of some jerkiness when shifting which they claim is normal and not dangerous to the transmission. I don’t think stock transmission downshifting speed is great. So what’s the general consensus from those who have flashed XHP from BM3 TCU flash? Is it really a big difference in both upshifting and downshifting speeds? Has anyone changed the shifting speed values to the max?ĭo you feel like it’s “lightning” fast, especially when downshifting or not?
